Stroke Awareness is the key to neutralizing the devastating effects stroke has on individuals, families, and communities. T.A.S.T.E.S. supports the National Stroke Association’s mission to reduce the incidence and impact of stroke by developing compelling education and programs focused on prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and support for all impacted by stroke.
Stroke strikes FAST and you should, too! Many people don’t know that being able to recognize and respond to stroke symptoms can possibly save lives. Stroke should be treated as an emergency because there is a treatment that can be given within the first three hours after symptoms start.
Stroke is an Emergency. Act FAST and Call 9-1-1. Few in the U.S. know the warning signs of stroke. Learning them and acting FAST when they occur – could save your life or the life of a loved one.
